The Gates PowerGrip KP15672XS kit contains everything needed for a timing belt service on the PSA/Ford 2.0 HDi and 2.0 TDCi diesel engines: the 5672XS HNBR timing belt (116 teeth, 25.4 mm wide), the T43231 tensioner, the T42199 idler pulley, the WP0092 water pump with gasket and the Z80691 crankshaft bolt. This is a genuine branded Gates kit, sold new by MECA RB.
Because the water pump is driven by the timing belt, Gates recommends replacing it together with the belt and pulleys to avoid a second labour charge and a risk of belt failure. Fitting requires engine locking tools and the manufacturer’s tensioning procedure; refill and bleed the cooling system with the correct coolant afterwards. We recommend fitting by a qualified mechanic and checking your engine code before ordering.
