Details
The MANN-FILTER C 27 009 is a panel air filter insert (269 x 191 x 24 mm) that replaces VW Group OE part 04E 129 620. It has a high dirt-holding capacity, good separation efficiency, low flow resistance and stable pleats, so it protects the engine and the air mass sensor for the whole service interval. This version uses lignin in the filter media. MECA RB sells it as a genuine branded MANN-FILTER part, in its original box.
Fitting: open the air filter housing on top of the engine, take out the old insert and clean any dust from the housing. Put the new filter in with the moulded seal seated all round, then close the housing evenly. Change it at every service or as your vehicle maker advises, and more often in dusty conditions.
