The MANN-FILTER W 712/95 is a spin-on oil filter for the VW group EA211 petrol engines (1.0, 1.2 and 1.4 TSI) found in the VW Golf VII, Audi A3 8V, SEAT Leon III and Skoda Octavia III. It uses a synthetic-fibre high-performance medium with high dirt-holding capacity, an anti-drain-back valve and a 2.5 bar bypass valve. It is the silver-painted successor to the earlier black W 712/92 and matches OE number 04E 115 561 H.
Sold by MECA RB as a genuine branded MANN-FILTER part, new in its original box. Fitting advice: change it at every oil service, lightly oil the new gasket, make sure the old gasket has come off with the old filter, tighten by hand to the torque printed on the can (20 Nm), then check the oil level and look for leaks after starting the engine.
