Details
The MANN-FILTER CUK 26 009 is a genuine branded cabin air filter with an activated carbon layer, sold new by MECA RB. It traps nearly all fine particles such as pollen, diesel soot and tyre dust, while the carbon layer captures harmful gases like ozone, nitrogen oxides and sulphur dioxide and removes unpleasant odours for the whole service interval. It replaces VAG OE numbers 5Q0 819 653 and 5Q0 819 669.
The filter measures 254 x 235 x 32 mm and sits behind the glove compartment; fitting takes about 15 minutes with basic tools. Respect the AIR FLOW arrow printed on the frame, and replace the cabin filter every year or 15,000 km (more often in heavy traffic or dusty conditions) to protect the air-conditioning system.
